[INUG-Users] SCOM connector thoughts

If managing an EMS (e.g. SCOM) with trapd you need as others have pointed
out an EMS Tier 3 or 5 license per instance of the managed EMS.
If collecting from multiple devices then you need Tier 1 licenses for
every device from which you are collecting traps. Use of some form of
consolidation server that does not provide EMS capability requires the
counting of all devices forwarding via that consolidation point.
It is many years since trapd was licensed by probe instance though there
may still be some customers running on old contracts.
