[INUG-Users] Sending events from CA Service Desk to Omnibus

I was told by CA (After their sales pitch to use their monitoring instead) that Service Desk can send SNMP Traps.
However I can not seem to find info on it or to locate anything within the application that deal with SNMP.

I would love to get events going from Service Desk to Omnibus.

Thanks!

We have this issue in that we are going to be raising incidents in
Service Desk by sending Emails to it. It appears the only way to get a
response back to allow us to update the alert with the incident number
(and acknowledge it for warning alerts) is to use Email again and have a
script that will run on the Object Server that will parse the Emails and
update the object server.

I suspect this will also be true for what you require. If anyone knows a
better way to do it please share. My information came from CA so there's
no guarantee it's right.
