[INUG-Users] Adding "Expert Advice" to Netcool Omnibus alerts

This probably should be a new thread, but I believe the "fat client" used to
let you define tools with different action according to operating system.  I
seem to recall that for Windows the "preferred" method was to say
somthing like "start <whatver>" and let Windows launch the application
registered to handle <whatever>, but you had to be more creative for *NIX
systems, like use a shell wrapper to launch Netscape or whatever.

This is an old memory, however, because I have been in the land of Webtop
for a number of years (although TIP makes me miss the old fat client a
little).
