Also, you mentioned, moving to another OS. If it is going from Windows to Unix, the slashes go in different directions. In Windows \ and / are interchangeable, but in Unix their not.

Hi Juan,
first idea is that the other system is older with regard to version.
The possibility to have environment variables in include statements has been introduced around the 7.0 version of Netcool (I don't recall exactly when). Perhaps you need to upgrade to the current version.

hello users
I have some rules file where I use the enviorment variable $NCHOME in the path of the include files.
The issue I have now is I took the rules file to another OS and when we run the nco_p_syntax it tells me there is a problem with the enviorement variable.
Does any one knows how to fix this ?
