Hello Grant,

Thanks for your suggestions, but i am unable to understand  how to make a 
new system variable called AGCLASSPATH and how is it set to the said paths

Shrikant,

- First make sure you've grabbed the following files from the dataview and
have them on the same system you are running Designer: DVChartStyles.jar,
jcschart40.jar, xerces.jar, ejb.jar.
Place these files into C:\Program Files\SilverStream\eXtendAppServer\lib

- Make sure you have a new system variable called AGCLASSPATH
Set it to: C:\Program
Files\SilverStream\eXtendAppServer\lib\DVChartStyles.jar;C:\Program
Files\SilverStream\eXtendAppServer\lib\jcschart40.jar;C:\Program
Files\SilverStream\eXtendAppServer\lib\xerces.jar;C:\Program
Files\SilverStream\eXtendAppServer\lib\ejb.jar

- Using Designer, connect to your datamart, and verify that all of the 
files
listed above are present (PV -> EJB JARs & Media -> JARs). If any are
missing, you need to upload them from Designer into the datamart.

That should get you going -- I ran into the exact same issue.
