[INUG-Users] Automation Help

Thanks Jacob. As much as I wish I could say "I am going to upgrade to 7.x
tomorrow", it ain't gonna happen that fast. :o)

You are right, though. I am using the 3 step generic clear. Weird part is,
it also happened when I turned it on for the "Expire" automation.
Bizarre... I can post the text of the automations/actions, if that would be
of any assistance.

Anyone else have any more... well, helpful... suggestions for this issue?
:o)

Upgrade to 7.x. From what I hear, you have a few months until 3.x is
no longer supported. If you look at the IBM life cycle page, 3.x isn't
even listed :D

Which generic clear are you using? The 3 step one? If that's the case,
it reads in every problem event, which is probably why you're seeing
journal entries on all of them - because technically, it's touching
every Type=1 event. I could be wrong, it's purely from memory ...

My first guess is you're where clause might be off, but since it's
3.6, I dont even remember if you get to set one or not ... it's been a
while ;)

I guess this post isn't all that helpful, eh?
