I had the same problem, you have to install the IBM Java client because
of the encryption between the client and server.  My opinion is that
this is dumb because the majority of people don't use the IBM specific
version of the Java client.

Hi List,

 

TSOM 4.1

Red Hat Linux AS 4

DB2 v9.1

 

I recently installed TSOM4.1, the installation went smooth i have  all
the

components on a single machine (RH AS4). I am able to login to the

TSOM-Portal but when i try to login to CMS a java applet loads  and
login

screen pops up, the default user pass does not work there, i get an
error

saying that 'Login timed out after 8 secs'. The webserver and the DB are
up,

no errors found in the TSOM log files (server.log. tsom-server.log).
Could

anyone help me out on this. Many thanks in advance!
