[INUG-Users] precision 3.5 discovery: superfluous connections (physical) on trunk ports

Hi!
I have noticed a problem arising sometimes on trunk ports (both on 
routers and switches):
the device (switch or router) connects via 802.1.q trunk to another switch.
Precision sometimes (not always!) creates besides the trunk connection a 
number of superfluous connections to other devices on this port.
What could cause these connections? Where to look?
I have VLAN modeling set to ON.
Anyone has similar issues?
